Luis II. llamado el rey loco mando construir el Castillo de Neuschwanstein. Que se encuentra a 964m de altura, estilo neogótico fue construido entre 1869 y 1886. Muchas salas fueron decoradas como auténticos decorados de ópera de Wagner su artista preferido
