Okunoin u Oku-no-in (literalmente, ‘santuario interior’) es un sitio y cementerio budista sagrado en el monte Kōya, en Wakayama. Inaugurado en 835, alberga el mausoleo de Kūkai, fundador de la escuela Shingon de budismo esotérico. Se considera el cementerio más grande de Japón, con más de doscientas mil tumbas y monumentos conmemorativos.
